Hi there!
Even if you don’t have any pets, we’d love to share another story with you that may benefit someone you care about. You never know who you might be in connection with that you could share this valuable resource with. We are big advocates of community support and being able to share resources with one another as we navigate this journey of life.
If you yourself or someone you know have beloved pets that you care deeply for, join us and the My Lively community for our upcoming Mixer on Oct 11th where we will explore Refined Holistic Care for our Beloved Pets and learn how to best support the lives of our fur family using innovative + effective modalities. We will be led by Dr John Harrison, DC, CVCP and Ginger Krantz, Principal of Earth Horse Healing, LLC.

Last week, I shared a story about Dr John Harrison and the remarkable impact of my experience in taking my sweet guinea Abigail (Abby) to see him. If you missed that email you can check it out here on our blog.

Ok, now a little backstory on how working with Ginger came to be. Abby’s sister, Penelope (yes, it began with another one of my guinea pigs), had a thinning spot of hair on her back side that I had noticed got larger over time. After taking her to the vet she was quickly diagnosed with ovarian cysts, something unfortunately common with guinea pigs. At first I tried hormone therapy on her, but it only seemed to help for a short time. Her cysts became more swollen and her hair loss became so aggressive that her skin was actually exposed across her entire lower half of her body. It was heartbreaking to watch this happen to her. I was told about Ginger through a good friend. I was accustomed to energy work on myself, but never knew anyone who did it on their pets. I called her up and got started right away. She wanted a present-day picture of Penelope and asked me many questions on Penelope’s lifestyle- what her enclosure was like and made out of, what her diet was like, etc. Ginger told me she’d call back to discuss what she found in about an hour. Once finished with Penelope’s healing session Ginger shared some details about Penelope’s ovaries and hormone issues. Then she started talking to me about how Penelope was feeling. Hearing how her head was hurting and had some pain and discomfort in different parts of her body really affected me. I wanted to help Penelope and relieve her suffering in any way that I could. The actuality is we never know how our pets are really feeling. How could we? They can’t tell us anything, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t have their own experiences and feelings. Ginger went on to discuss what I could do to help support Penelope, but mainly shared how working with energy and animals is a very gentle yet powerful process and to give it some time.

Penelope was quiet and slept after being worked on by Ginger. Something I was used to experiencing myself after receiving energy work. I trusted the process. In time Penelope’s cysts began to shrink and her hair grew back. I have now been working with Ginger for the last 3 plus years and with her help we are managing Penelope’s hormones and hair loss and regrowth (it seems to be a seasonal thing). This is all being managed without medication or surgery. Ginger has also helped tremendously when Penelope had to get an eye removed (pre and post surgery), but that is an altogether different story to tell. That experience really blew my mind and created an even greater appreciation for Ginger’s ability to support along with giving immense love for our beloved pets (big or small). You may not be able to comprehend what Ginger does, but after her working on all my fur babies over the years while sharing many laughs and tears, I have seen things that have no other explanation other than it is real and it does work! She has taught me that it isn’t silly to pour so much love into my pets no matter if it is my hamster, guinea pig or dog. They all deserve my love, attention and protection. I will forever be grateful for her guidance and affirmations. I love all my pets dearly and will do whatever I can to help them live their fullest, happiest, healthiest lives. With people like Ginger by your side all of that becomes less of just a hope and more of a reality.
Having such remarkable experiences with both Dr John and Ginger as they cared for my pets, I was motivated to bring them together to share their wisdom and have it be available to more people. I’m so excited to welcome them as our hosts for our upcoming mixer in October.
At this mixer Dr John and Ginger will partner together on a panel to discuss:
- The differences in traditional vet care (surgery, drugs, vaccines, etc) to innovative holistic care (acupuncture, muscle testing, chiropractic, chinese medicine, supplements, energy healing, etc)
- How to find the path of care that best serves your beloved pets and being informed of the options available to make the best decisions for their well-being
- Case studies of animals that they have both worked on and the results they’ve seen
- Recognizing just how complex animals are in their mental and emotional internal states
- How to be more in tune with and connected to your pets on many levels
There will also be opportunity for Q&A throughout the panel and a chance to connect with Dr John and Ginger 1:1 after the panel concludes.
Ticket sales are LIVE and the early bird rate of $39 expires on Sept 26th!
Here at My Lively, we aim to have our mixers highlight a variety of themes and topics that serve the well-being of your full life. That includes you, your family and your pets too!
If you or someone you know has beloved pets, and you want to learn more about the options available for their care that go beyond the traditional veterinary route, then you want to join us for this mixer. It could change the course of your pet’s life, and both of your well-being.
See you in October!
